Ultrasound scans

We carry out all types of ultrasound scans for pregnant women, from confirming pregnancy in the first trimester, through screening tests to detect foetal birth defects (weeks 13, 20 and 30), screening for foetal growth restriction at week 36, scans for multiple pregnancies, and cervical length measurements.

We carry out specialist ultrasound scans as part of antenatal care – we hold ČGPS certification to perform this procedure (code 63415). We are certified sonographers by the FMF – Fetal Medicine Foundation London for both the first and second trimesters, and our measurements are subject to regular audits. We use certified Astraia software (Astraia Software GmbH) to evaluate the data. We perform screening examinations using the top-of-the-range Voluson E10 ultrasound machine from GE Healthcare.

We welcome you to be accompanied by one or two people. If you would like a photograph, please let us know before the examination begins. Upon request, we can also provide you with an envelope containing the estimated sex of your baby.
