Genetic counselling

Breast milk is the best possible nutrition for your baby. Close contact with your baby – skin-to-skin bonding – not just in the first few hours of life, is the first step towards successful breastfeeding.

You may be advised to have a genetic consultation following a recommendation from your GP or gynaecologist, or following an abnormal result from the first-trimester combined screening for birth defects. We provide these consultations in collaboration with clinical geneticists from Gennet s. r. o. 

Consultations are carried out by Dr Elsa Zemánková and Dr Lucie Slámová, PhD.

Where can you find us?

Consultations with a clinical geneticist take place at the gynaecology outpatient clinic of the Příbram Regional Hospital, Building D4, 1st floor. Please report to reception.
